We contracted to have a well dug on our new land.

Neighbors reported to us that they had difficulty finding water until the third try.
The drilling company used a handheld electronic gun to locate the best chance at hitting water.
Unfortunately, this spot was no where near close to where we wanted the well.
We had our fingers crossed as we were told to expect to go down to 75 meters to hit water.
My husband was concerned in the future the water may dry up and suggested 100 meters.
To our good fortune, water was found at 55 meters.
The decision was made then to drill to 80 meters only.
A 6″ casing was used with 4″ piping.
The company installed a control box which has an electrical connection for the pump.
We asked the company to source a 1.5 HP Pump from Japan. (Husband would not go for Thai or Chinese Pump).
The well is producing 10,200 liters of water per hour.
All in all a good project and hard work by the drilling team ensured a successful well!
