The downside to Loy Krathong festival is starting the day after, workers have to go and remove all the Krathong’s from the bodies of water all over Thailand.
Past efforts to make Krathong’s biodegradable and even edible to the fish, have fallen way short.
All those coins, well wishers put in their Krathong baskets, will be fished out by the workers.
