Yesterday it was time to replace my eyeglasses.
I usually opt to use a local Optometrist and shop nearby.
Although the local shop is only a bit cheaper than the big franchise eye glass stores.
With a full eye exam included, the glasses cost me around 7,500 thb (which I think is quite expensive).
The frames (no name) were 2750 baht.
The lenses were the house brand with double coating, UV and tinting for 5,000 thb.
If you need glasses when you are in Thailand, expect to pay a high price for them.
This price is in rural Isaan and it could be higher in the cities and tourist areas.
