Amazon.com has a tab where you can get FREE shipping to Thailand on many products.
Be advised however, that there is a CUSTOMS TAX associated with each product, and the tax will be added to your total purchase when you check out.
It has been my experience with some products, that the tax itself can cost as much as the entire product price. Some things the tax was too high and did not order.
You have to balance out the total cost to see if this is worth it for you.
In our rural Isaan village, delivery drivers work from their own trucks and always give you a personal phone call to tell you they are on their way to your house with your delivery.
My experience is that Amazon usually has your products delivered quicker that what they state when you first purchase, which is always great.
Some things I have ordered from Amazon recently and had delivered:
Craftsman 20v cordless tools
DJI Osmo 5 Action Camera remote control, tripod and ND filters.
Celestron Skymaster Binoculars
Waterproof hard case for DJI Mini 5 Pro Drone
Other assorted US specialty tools for our builder
We have had zero issues with Amazon.com deliveries here.
I feel safe knowing that if there is something I need, and can get from Amazon, I will order from them.
Be advised shipping can take anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks but usually is quite acceptable.
UPDATE: Amazon, the largest e-commerce company in the world, recently opened a new office in Thailand
In Amazon’s office on Phetchaburi Road, the company is offering training services to e-commerce merchants on how to use the platform and attract overseas customers.
On the Amazon platform, sellers can either ship directly to overseas buyers or work with a third-party service provider network that Amazon is currently developing in the country, which would help with shipping and international payments. The company hopes this network will help standardise shipping prices overseas.
Eventually Amazon wants to develop its own in-house logistics operation, becoming a “one-stop solution provider for sellers in Thailand”.
