You can buy tee-shirts in any rural market in Isaan for 50 thb (US $1.61) or less.
A tee-shirt at Lotus’s is 259 thb (US $8.35).

I personally have never seen anyone buy a tee-shirt at Lotus’s for that price?
Why would people spend 259 thb for 1 tee-shirt when they could buy 5 for the same price at the local markets?
We know the tee-shirts in the market are all copies.
What we don’t know is if these products are licensed or not?
But in Thailand, no one ever goes around asking “Is your tee-shirt licensed”.
Because no one cares if it is or it isn’t.
They only care if they think they look good in it.
People in rural Isaan buy what they can afford.
Plain and simple.
The cheaper price, the better.
