A few days each year, it gets really cold in rural Isaan.
Today is one of those days.
Houses here do NOT have heaters and most, no hot water.
Neighbors will wake up early and huddle around a hole in the yard where they will have a fire started.
Wrapped in heavy clothes and blankets, it is quite a site to see people trying to stay warm.
The good news is once the sun comes up, it won’t take long to warm up!
