The high season season in Thailand, (Dec. to Feb.) is not the time to take a vacation if you want to relax and have some enjoyment.
The high season brings an influx of tourist which completely overwhelms all the tourist attractions in the islands.
The sound of numerous speed boats and boat motors drowned out whatever peace and tranquility is there.
Not only that, there is a sharp increase in prices.
Crowds are prolific, long lines and just an unpleasantness from that many tourists at one time.
You never see Thai’s taking a holiday during the high season and that is the reason!
