Wednesday morning saw many commuters in Bangkok wearing face masks after the Department of Disease Control reported the weekly COVID-19 situation.
Data for week 21 of 2025 (May 18 to 24, 2025, as of May 26, 2025) showed 53,597 new cases.
The cumulative number of cases since the beginning of 2025 has reached 187,031. Of these, 2,831 patients are receiving hospital treatment, and 50,766 are outpatients. There were 5 additional deaths, bringing the cumulative death toll for 2025 to 46.
