Headrock Dog Rescue

The owners of Headrock Dog Rescue are still searching for experienced and passionate dog rescuers and lovers.

A couple is wanted to take over the rescue Headrock Dogs Rescue.

At 77, and after 17 years of running Headrock Dogs Rescue, the owner has made the difficult decision to retire at the end of this year. Time marches on and this is a huge step, one she has considered for the past seven years.

This year will be crucial. The owner’s priority is finding the right couple or group to take over Headrock Dogs Rescue in Bang Saphan.

They are a small but thriving organization, financially stable and debt-free, and the only operational rescue for hundreds of kilometers. Finding an experienced and dedicated successor is vital.

The owner is looking for a couple or group who’ve lived in Thailand for a few years, has experience of caring for groups of dogs such as street and temple dogs, has fundraising and social media experience and is passionate about the welfare of dogs and puppies.

The work is hard with long hours and sometimes heartbreaking but there are great rewards too. If the owner’s can’t find anyone with these requirements, they will sadly have to close, a devastating outcome for the local dogs.

Please share this story widely with friends, animal rescue organizations, and anyone you think might be interested. Ideas for spreading the word would be immensely appreciated.

The owners are happy to provide a proposal outlining a potential change in ownership to anyone interested in learning more.

Headrock Dogs Rescue has been part of the owner’s life for the past 17 years, preceded by my 5 years volunteer work with Hua Hin Dog Rescue, the forerunner to Headrock Dogs.

The owner’s have poured my heart into our rescue work, especially the rewarding work of rescuing and rehabilitating sick and injured dogs.

Headrock Dog Rescue has found loving homes for over 550 dogs and puppies – the most joyful part of this entire journey. Thank you for reading my appeal.
