Burning farm fields is a major source of air pollution.

Burning happens anywhere there are huge crops.
It is the simplest way to remove the crop stubble to prepare for the next season’s crop.
However, the air pollution is much worse in some places than others.
If you are planning on moving to Thailand, you need to do thorough research on the air quality for ALL 12 months of year.
That way you will know how bad the air quality will get.
Many people that live in Chiang Mai go on a hiatus somewhere else when the fields are burning.
