Things Are Good

There are all kinds of locations around the world going to hell.

Economic costs are out of site, rising crime, wokeness and a host of other issues are making living in the west not so desirable.

Is Thailand the answer for you? Because it is for us.

We have land, a house, new cars all paid for and our monthly expenses are only ~ US $800.00 a month in rural Isaan.

The biggest downfall to living in Thailand is NOT having enough money.

No, you are NOT going to live here the rest of your life on the cheap.

No, No, No and No.

Anyone tells you this, they are full of it.

AI is destroying/replacing jobs at an alarming rate in the west. 10,000’s of layoffs in the US alone in the past 2 months.

There is no guarantee with your job in the west anymore.

Better start thinking if Thailand would be a better place for you?

If you want to live here, understand your budget today AND when you are 60 years old.

See if you can make it work now and then, then go for it.

Understand 100% if you have kids and cannot afford US $30,000 International School Tuition and home school your kids, what kind of opportunities will they have when they turn 18?

Thai college graduates starting average salary is only around 15,000 thb or (US $468.00) a month. Your kid wouldn’t have much of a future with that.

Most foreigners probably cannot live like Thai people. That and the government requirement that you earn 65,000 thb a month seems to prove that?

If, and that is a big If, if you can make if financially work out, Thailand may be the best option in the future.

Thailand has numerous locations with low cost and it has been that way the past 50+ years.

Cities and tourist areas will require a heck of lot more income.

Lots of things go into a decision whether you can financially make it here or not?

If you have the money, things are good here and the outlook is good as well.

If you do not have the money to pay for you life, it will all come crashing down quite quickly.

Do yourself a favor if you want to have a good life here?

Plan your budget carefully now and for when you are 60.

Can you make it with room to spare?

Do you have enough money left over each month to calm any worries?

Things can be good here for you, if you plan, plan, plan and then plan some more.

All this planning can and will minimize the chances of failing.

Chok Dee!
