Sourcing Food

If you live in rural Isaan, you might be 50km+ from the nearest grocery store.

Meaning a Tesco, Big C or Makro.

Food is sourced through local village markets.

Each village has certain days set aside where all the vendors will show up to sell their food.

You can buy food already cooked, or you can buy fresh vegetables and ingredients to cook your own food at home.

Pre-Cooked Meals
Grilled Chicken

The prices are super cheap and this is the way of life for most in rural Isaan.

Local markets become a way of life for sourcing food.

The variety is vast and you can find anything you want including meals, meats, fish, vegetables, drinks, snacks and more.
