Every single rural house in Isaan will have at least one or two hammocks hanging about.
This is due to the fact that many run out of things to do and just take a nap in their hammocks.
Hammocks are very common here in rural Isaan.
They are made locally and sold for around US $3 to $4 dollars.
You can find them for sale in many rural shops in the villages.
