Social media is flooded with millions of posts related to tourist questions. Many it seems, are too lazy to look up the answers they are seeking.
Tons of just ridiculously stupid questions.
For example: Can you recommend a hotel in Bangkok?
Do you even have a clue that Bangkok is over 600+ square miles in size? What area, what price range, etc. If you are not smart enough to ask detailed questions, you will get nothing but sarcastic answers.
There is a world of difference between tourists and expats that actually live in Thailand.
I would never ask a tourist anything as their experience is going to be extremely limited.
If you want the true, ask an expat that has live here a few years.
The Thailand l live in, is nothing like a resort holiday, it is real life.
Some tourists think everyday is going to be a resort holiday.
If you move here on a limited budget, you will find out this can be a hard place to live.
