Many families return from Bangkok for the holidays, bringing food and fireworks to their rural families that they haven’t seen all year.
It is a giant once a year chance to see family, spend time together, eat, drink and be merry.
You cannot blame people for wanting to be happy.
Many younger couples have had to abandon their kids with the grandparents to raise here in rural Isaan, so they can go work and earn money in Bangkok.
It is a very special chance one a year to be together.
Loud music and fireworks will go on all night.
