There are always a few days at the end of the year where it gets chilly in rural Isaan.
Homes here do not have heat.
Cars have no warm defrosters either!
It is easy for the locals to filled chilled during these days.
Particularly the elders.
Despite the government mandated burning bans, locals will resort to burning in their front yards just to stay warm until the sun comes up.
Then it will warm up to 85f degrees!
Regardless of harmful carcinogens and smoke, locals will still burn to stay warm.
It is part of life here in rural Isaan.
The good news is we have very few days that cold that the locals feel they have to burn to stay warm!
