Sriracha, Chonburi – Dramatic footage from a dashcam has captured a traffic accident in which a sedan performed an illegal U-turn, obstructing the roadway and leading to a high-impact collision with a motorcycle carrying two secondary school students. Both students were seriously injured in the crash.

The accident occurred around 4:45 p.m. on February 10th, 2026, on the Sak Kho-Nong Kham Road in the Nong Kham sub-district. Rescue personnel from the Sawang Prathip Sriracha Foundation were alerted to the scene, where a motorcycle had collided with a passenger vehicle, leaving two injured parties, both students.
At the scene, officers found a white Honda Lead motorcycle lying overturned in the middle of the road, its front end heavily damaged. The two victims, both Grade 8 (Mathayom 2) students from a school in Sura Sak sub-district, were lying injured on the pavement. They had suffered multiple wounds, body pain, and neck strain.
Nearby was a bronze-silver Lexus RX330 SUV driven by Mr. Manat Buachu, approximately 79 years old. The vehicle’s right front fender showed clear collision damage. Mr. Manat remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
Rescue teams provided initial first aid to the two students before transporting them to Somdet Phra Borom Ratchathewi Na Sriracha Hospital for further treatment.
Dashcam footage from another vehicle revealed the sequence of events: The students’ motorcycle was traveling straight and had just overtaken another vehicle when the Lexus sedan suddenly executed a U-turn, blocking the lane. The motorcycle slammed into the right front side of the Lexus at full speed.
The impact was severe, the pillion passenger was thrown into the air, struck the car’s body, and then fell to the ground. The motorcycle rider remained pinned against the wreckage and sustained more serious injuries. Following the collision, the sedan driver slowly reversed the vehicle to the side of the road.
Eyewitnesses told police they had seen the students’ motorcycle approaching straight in its lane. The Lexus, which had reportedly pulled over to buy something at the roadside, then made an abrupt U-turn without checking for oncoming traffic, resulting in the forceful collision.
Police from Nong Kham Police Station inspected the scene, documented evidence, and collected the dashcam footage from a good Samaritan as key proof. The case will proceed according to legal procedures.
Authorities are investigating the incident further, with the U-turn maneuver by the sedan believed to be the primary contributing factor to the crash. Both injured students are receiving medical care, and no fatalities were reported.
