A tour bus carrying around 50 passengers crashed into an electricity pole in Cha-am early this morning (17 March), in the Huai Sai Tai area close to the border with Hua Hin.

The accident happened at about 7:11 a.m. in front of a 7-Eleven near VIP Condo on the southbound side. Initial reports indicate the bus, which was travelling from Bangkok to Khao Tao, lost control before striking the pole.
Around 15 passengers sustained minor injuries to their arms and legs. One person suffered a head wound, while two others reported chest tightness. No serious injuries have been reported.
Rescue workers from the Sawang Sanphet Foundation and ambulances from Cha-am Hospital transported those injured to Hua Hin Hospital for treatment.
