What do you think about expat seniors trying to make a go on Youtube?
Are they doing this for money because they have no other way to make extra money?
Did they retire and their pension is not going as far as it use to, as costs have risen over the past 20 years?
Subscribe, subscribe, subscribe is all you hear on their videos.
I can somewhat understand young people, whose mindset is to not get an education or a real job and try to live on the cheap from Youtube, but senior citizens is a different story.
One thing about living and retiring in Thailand, is that you might have enough for 2024 but is that going to be enough in 2044? Most people never think ahead.
Youtube could disappear someday, then what?
In a way, I feel sorry for these senior’s as most have little to no chance to gain enough subscribers to make it financially worthwhile.
But we can hope for the best for them.
