Rent $120 (4,000 thb) a month for a one bedroom house.
Electric $50 (1,500 thb) for running ac on cold 24/7
Water bill is $2 a month/60 thb
Food is averaging $3 a day (100 thb) or 3,000 thb a month ($100)
Gas (need to have a car if your live in rural issan ($100 month/3,000 thb)
Mobile Phone $10 month/300 thb
It totals around US $400 a month only.
If you can live in rural Isaan like a Thai person, the costs can be extremely low and still maintain a quality of life.
