Nothing Much Changes

Living in Thailand, nothing much changes year in and year out.

Once people settle down, buy some land and build a house, or rent a condo, it becomes same-same every day.

Daily routines become the norm.

I think where tourists get confused is they think living in Thailand is going to be the same as the tourist experience.

Hopping around to different attractions, parties, and eating all kinds of food.

Tourists may be in the islands, Chiang Mai and Bangkok all in one trip.

Loads of different experiences to take in while they are on a holiday.

Living in Thailand is much different and each day rolls into the next without any change or fanfare.

People living in Thailand have to budget carefully for their financial survival, and most may be limited to what they can see and do each day, month or year.

You really have to live in Thailand for a while to understand that living in Thailand can become the same as where you moved here from and maybe end up worse if you have limited funds to venture out of the norm.

It really comes down to your chosen location in Thailand and how much money you have to get out and see/do different things.

Finding the area for you so that your daily life is happy and exciting for you, knowing that whatever your daily routines become, is pretty much it for the rest of your life.

If you don’t find the right daily environment that suits you, the shine and happiness of living in Thailand will wear off much quicker than you can image.
