Tourists may be in for a shock when they show up at an island attraction and it is just flooded with people.
During the high season (Nov.- Feb.) this is true for all beach locations in Phuket and the surrounding islands.
However, locations close to Bangkok can also get over-whelmed during local national holidays.
Koh Larn off of Pattaya, Hua Hin, Cha Am and other areas close to Bangkok just get so crowded it makes for a very unpleasant experience.
The beach is just packed with domestic tourists and the lines and noise are unbearable.
Please keep this in mind and research your destination first during any holiday.
