When you are building a house in Thailand, you can apply to the PEA (Provincial Electric Authority), for electricity to use for construction.
In our case this entailed buying 2 24′ concrete power poles and running the power wires to our property (from the neighbors existing poles).
PEA will then install a meter and a power box on your pole.
This enables you to have electricity for construction of your home.
It is important to visit PEA and coordinate this carefully.
