Haew Narok Waterfall

Haew Narok/Heo Narok Waterfall – which literally translated means “hell’s abyss” – is famous for being a tourist attraction.

Each year, elephant’s trying to cross the river above, get caught in the current and swept over the 150m tall falls to their death.

It is a magnificent waterfall season to visit in rainy season when the falls are at the strongest.

Caution you have to walk a ways through a very humid jungle, then down and back up 250 extremely steep, wet stairs.
