Today is officially the last day of Songkran in rural Isaan.
The three days seemed to go by way too quickly, even if the weather was 104f+ and dragging us down.
Plenty of activities and fun during this years holidays including water fights, cook outs, and live concerts.
It is the one time of the year people can escape their daily struggles and actually enjoy life.
The end of Songkran is like the end of summer when I was a kid.
You hate to see the end of summer coming because it meant going to back to school.
Kind of the same feeling.
We touched a lot of kids lives, handing out free water funs and spreading goodwill.
Isaan is a completely different life in Thailand.
Worlds away from all the problems you see foreigners getting into in the tourist areas.
This is the real Thailand, the real Thai life.
We enjoy it while we can.
