A high number of folks in rural Isaan make a living selling in the local daily markets.
Selling vegetables, fruits or anything else they grow.
Selling home cooked meals, drinks and many other things to eat.
Some sell clothes.
It is how folks here make a living.
They have to live on whatever income they earn that morning in the market.
Sometimes, it might now be anything, other times it is enough to get them by.
Setting up and selling everyday in order to have some money to support themselves.
That is one of the reasons I always support these local vendors.
There is no complaining, even though their financial struggles are great.
It is tough, but this life is acceptable and thankful they have a chance to earn something.
