When driving in rural Isaan during sugarcane harvest, motorists have to be aware of the large sugarcane trucks.
These trucks are often very overloading and can tip over and crash on the roadways.

Driving behind these trucks is also a hazard as hard sugarcane stocks routinely blow off the top of the trucks.
One should use common sense and pass these trucks safely when the opportunity to legally pass affords itself.
Beware of slow moving trucks, whose sugarcane loads can shift and cause the truck to crash.
