2 Way Street

Coming to Thailand is a 2 way street.

The Thai government has come up with some new VISA’s to attract foreigners to Thailand.

For example, DTV Soft Power VISA to study Muay Thai.

I think most foreigners are looking for a way to stay in Thailand without understanding the implications of what that actually means?

First and foremost, you ALWAYS need an income no matter what.

While it may be remotely possible to piece an income together while you are here on a DTV or live off what little savings you have, what are the long term implications?

You could end up 5 years older with nothing to your name. VISA is finished. Now What?

No skills learned during the past 5 years to help you make an income.

Going back home 5 years older to settle into a menial job while living with your parents?

Just getting to Thailand is the easiest part of the journey.

How to fund the stay for the rest of your life is almost impossible.

Most people never look past their nose to understand what happens when the VISA is finished?

Thailand, due to many reasons, is one of the hardest countries to make money in the world. Not get rich money, it is hard to make enough even to survive.

A large percentage of the Thai population cannot even earn US $1,000 a month in their own country!

Often than entails not saving one baht for a future retirement.

One you get to Thailand, you have 2 choices. It’s a 2 way street.

Find a way to financially survive past your VISA expiration date or go back home 5 years older.

Those 5 years will be lost years. Nothing saved or put away, starting over in your own country 5 years older where the cost of living has gone through the roof.

For all those people living for today, you are going to be in a huge disappointment when you don’t have the means to stay.

Think hard about navigating the 2 way street of Thailand.
