2. Sukhothai – is a historical city and a UNESCO World Heritage site, offering a glimpse into Thailand’s past with its ancient ruins and temples. It’s less crowded than other popular tourist destinations, making it ideal for those who appreciate history and a tranquil environment.

    3. Phetchabun – Phetchabun, a province in north-central Thailand, lies in the Pa Sak River valley between parallel ranges of the Phetchabun Mountains. Si Thep Historical Park, in the south of the province, contains the ruins of an ancient city built during the Khmer Empire, including sculptures and religious monuments. Khao Kho National Park in the northwest is characterized by forested mountains, streams and a cooler climate.

Lampang – Lampang, also called Nakhon Lampang to differentiate from Lampang province, is the third largest city in northern Thailand and capital of Lampang province and the Mueang Lampang district. Traditional names for Lampang include Wiang Lakon and Khelang Nakhon. The city is a trading and transportation center.

    5. Nan – Nan is a town in northern Thailand. It is 688 km north of Bangkok. It is in the centre of Nan province which bears its name, and of which it is the former administrative capital. It covers tambon Nai Wiang and parts of tambon Pha Sing of Mueang Nan district, an area of 7.60 km² divided into 30 chumchon.
