Heavy Rain No-No

If you are driving in Thailand, do NOT try to drive where heavy rain has flooded the streets as shown.

First of all, you will have NO idea if the roadway underneath is washed away.

You could drive over debris and puncture a tire.

The water can come flooding the lower door seal into the car.

The oil filter on most engines hangs on the bottom of the engine.

Water can seep into the oil filter and get into the engine oil causing all kinds of engine problems.

The water can get into the exhaust pipe causing the engine to stall, leaving you stranded in the flood waters.

It is NOT worth risking it.

If you are in a rental, you may be responsible for the damages!
