Potential tourist’s coming to Thailand should understand 1 thing?

Potential tourists that get all their information strictly from Facebook, are NOT going to be aware of all the scams and bad things that can happen in Thailand.

I believe the country tries it’s best to surprise any type of negative stories that will adversely affect tourism dollars.

Traveler’s should research and be aware of ALL published scams, from taxis not using the meters, to the Grand Palace being closed. There are least 50 published scams to be aware of.

Thailand has a huge problem with drugs. This is not the country you want to be messing with drugs unless you are ridiculously stupid. Research Thai prison conditions!

Pickpocketing is another big issue, as well as bag snatching and thefts in general.

Excessive alcoholism is very dangerous as fighting will get you on the wrong side of 10+ Thai’s who will beat you up and send you to the hospital.

Ladyboys snatching gold on Beach Road and fighting with customers who may discover too late they are, in fact, a ladyboy.

To have a safe trip, you HAVE to be aware of all the bad things that can happen here.

Over friendly Thai’s just don’t happen, they are setting you up for a scam or worse.

You have to remember that when you need help.

It is best to read all the Thai News sites in English right here on this website before you travel.
