A harsh reality of rural Isaan is the amount of single mothers.
Single mother’s forced to make a living for themselves and their child.
There isn’t any social welfare programs to help out.
Working single mother’s often have to take their child along with them while they work, because there is no one else that can watch their kid or they don’t trust leaving the kid with other’s.
This can result in long days in harsh conditions for the child.
We know these mother’s are doing the best they can.
It is still very sad to see the kid’s having to struggle as well.
The lady sells in our local market.
It was 97f degrees this day and the child is sleeping on a blanket on the concrete while his mother works.
It just does not seem fair and there is a lot of that around rural Isaan.
