As a foreigner living in Thailand, how often do you eat Thai food?
For me being Thai, it is seven days a week.
My American husband, maybe not quite so much.
He still likes to eat some western food.
We both have our favorite Thai food dishes and places to eat that we will not pass up, however, at home we can have western and Thai at the same meal.
For my husband, maybe an occasional pizza from Pizza Company would be his western choice.
We both like Japanese so if we are near a Fuji, that is the place for us.
In Isaan, the Thai food we cook is super spicy and I can understand most foreigners cannot handle this.
With grocery stores selling western foods, there is always a choice for the picky eaters that are not in love with Thai food.
Spaghetti, Marinara, Alfredo and other pasta dishes.
Lots of thing cooked outside on the grill like beef, chicken or pork.
Toss in a Papaya Salad and you have the best of both worlds.
No matter if you are a fan of Thai food or not, you can find just about anything you want in Thailand.
You will not go hungry, that is for sure!
