Thailand is an awesome holiday destination.
So many marvelous places to see and do from the cities, the islands, the beaches, the mountains, the rivers, the plains and even more.
For those that settle down in Thailand, you have 1 location to choose, which could be where you spend the rest of your life?
Once you settle down, it is nothing like being a tourist. Not even close.
It doesn’t take long for many to get bored living in only 1 location.
We can say the same thing about Thai people. Having the money, we like to travel as much as anyone, although it always comes down to having the money to do so.
Life is full of excitement when you are on the go, eating in fine restaurants and staying in nice resorts.
Not so much excitement staying at home.
Thailand comes down to having the money to pay for the lifestyle to keep you from getting bored.
If you have the money to keep from being bored, you will have it made.
Living in Thailand is never like being a short term tourist, unless you have a ton of money to do what you want.
All those that claim skimping by in Thailand on $500 a month are just plain foolish.
Wait a year and see how many have already gone home?
You really have to plan a lifestyle to keep you happy, on whatever income you have.
Only then can you be truly happy.
Believe it or not, the shine and newness of living in Thailand can wear off much quicker than you think.
