Live in Thailand

There are 10,000’s of people all over the world that want to live in Thailand.

The number one reason most cannot, is income.

For those under age 50, and not on a retirement pension, income can be hard to come by.

Most expats that need to work, take up a job teaching English.

A low percentage have it made with a full expat package.

Depending on your qualifications and working at an international school or a Thai school, the income can range from more than enough to not enough.

Teaching English while trying to survive on 30,000 thb a month is not easy and very stressful.

The majority of the people cannot crack the financial requirements to live in Thailand, although many try.

There are tons of stories on Youtube from surviving on US $700 a month and up.

These folks are delusional living in the now, not saving or having anything for retirement.

The qualifications for a retirement visa is 65,000 thb per month (~US $1,827). How do you get a pension that high if you never contribute or build up social security benefits over the course of your life?

The downside is it takes these people a few years before realizing they are financially defeated and heading home where their Thailand experience is worthless in getting a job.

So if you want to live in Thailand?

  1. Marry someone rich and let them support you.
  2. Get a job and have a wife/GF as a second earner where combined salaries are enough.
  3. Work online. Have the technical skills to be a high earner.
  4. Start your own business (Although a high percentage always fail or do not make enough due to dealing in thb).
  5. Youtube or social media influencer. (Easier for sexy girls)

There is not really much else.

The biggest issue I see is people pull off getting to Thailand and surviving, but that is it.

Living in a box size condo with no assets, car or anything can get old quite quickly.

Most people living this way burn out, get stressed out over money and finally figure out they cannot make it here the rest of their lives.

Do you want to move to Thailand and live here forever?

You better have a darn good, fool proof plan of income from the day you arrive until the day you die.
