There seems to be a lot of violence occurring all over Thailand.

Excessive drinking, road rage, drug use, jealousy and other things can fuel extremely violent behaviors from Thai people.
You do not want to be a victim of a senseless crime.
Keep your eyes open and be safe.
Remove yourself from the situations at the first sign of trouble.
