Monk is a Career

There are tons of stories all over social media of monks doing unethical things.

The latest is monks riding in a banana boat posted to social media.

I have personally witnesses monks buying junk food in 7 Eleven, Monks with expensive phones and Ipads, expensive cameras, A monk driving a brand new BMW and all kinds of unethical non-Buddhist behaviors.

We were eating at a restaurant when 2 monks came in, ordered a ton of food and ate it all.

When it came time to pay one monk had a wallet stuffed with money?

I personally cannot see donating to the temple after I have witnessed all the poor people in my area that cannot even afford to go out to eat and these monks living it up.

Many Thai people have simply stopped donating because of these bad behaviors.

There was a story the other day in the news, where a monk in his robe, went into 7-Eleven and brought some beer to the counter to purchase.

The clerk refused to sell him the beer and he stormed out of the store.

All of this was captured on social media.

One social media personality commented “Monks no longer behave like Monks and perform their duties. Being a Monk is just a career for them.”

Please consider a small donation if this was of help or interest to you.
