If there is a way to take money from others, those in charge in Thailand will find a way; legal or not.
Amazing how the rich and those in power think nothing about taking extra charges against everyday Thai’s making 10,000 thb per month or less.
Reminds me of the road blocks set up by the police all over Thailand to collect money for the big shot in charge, so he can live a lifestyle way above his own salary.
Somehow, these superiors think this behavior is acceptable?
It is very wrong and sad, yet at the same time, most people know this will never change.
Thailand isn’t perfect and this is just one of those things that if you do not accept, you may find yourself making more trouble than it is worth.
