It is the time of year when the rice turns from it’s vibrant green to a golden harvest color.

Once the rice is cut, it must be spread out on a screen net to dry.


Once the rice is dry it can be bagged up and sold as is. However, this rice will still have the outer kernel on it.

To be able to eat this rice, the kernel has to be removed first.
Each local village will have machines that strip out the edible rice from the kernel.
Once the kernel is stripped off, you can bag up the rice and take it home to eat.
