Safety is Not Paramount

As a Thai, I do not believe Thailand safety standards are up to par.

The main goal is to always make money, take shortcuts to get the job done quick and cheap.

I don’t ever risk myself with ziplines, motorbike taxis, van or bus transportation, climbing dangerous spots for a selfie, large crowds and others.

It is just not worth the chance.

Although mathematics can probably prove the chance of error is very low, the main issue is there are usually deaths involved in safety accidents and I don’t want to die.

I do not feel I am missing anything by avoiding things I deem unsafe.

It is sad whenever this occurs in Thailand.

Companies involved think financial compensation will make the problems go away so they can resume their operations, only for it to happen again.

Very sad but I am always aware, after living in the US, about safety vs taking a risk here in Thailand.
