Foreigners have bombarded social media with topics about Thailand.
Tons and tons of topics.
All these foreigners looking for ways to create income so they can stay and live in Thailand.
The problem I see is people creating content that have zero experience living here.
The create content for subscribers and clicks.
Many creators have no idea how Thailand works and will spin outrageous stories for more subscribers.
These creators visit a place one time and they spin their take on it to try to make money.
The sad things is all the unknowing people following along like it is gospel.
If you are really interested in moving to Thailand, you need to come visit for yourself. That is the only way you will be able to differentiate how hard it is to live here from all the glamorous stories on social media.
One thing you never hear on social media is a plan for getting old and have no retirement or pension.
These creators living in the now, trying to earn enough to make it through this year and that’s it. No assets, no savings, no nothing. Not so glamorous!
Have to ever noticed that 99% if the content creators in Thailand are males? Why is that, when women are much more attractive to viewers?
It is because Thailand attracts all the single males that had a hard time finding a woman in their own countries.
Sad but true is the case of these creators.
Is living in Thailand where it Monsoon rains for six months, is super hot 4 months and only has nice weather 2 months a year ideal?
Is living in Bangkok where the air pollution consistently ranks amongst the top 10 worst in the world ideal?
Is living in Phuket, which has an unproportionate amount of Russians Ideal? The same with Pattaya and the Indians?
Is living in the islands where the population has grown so fast that trash is all over the place and the quantities have created trash mountains ideal?
Is US $30,000 a year for a kid’s international education ideal?
In the end, it all boils down to male creators spinning Thailand how easy it is to get women.
Social media creators not the ones to be learning about Thailand from.
The biggest issue foreigners face here, is when they go from being a tourist with a pocket full of money, to living here fulltime with a small income.
With no money, Thailand is not a fun place to be.
Remember that, no matter how many video’s you watch!
