Washing Machines are another thing that to many is a luxury in rural Isaan.
The washing machine most seen in rural Isaan is like this one.
To fill this machine, you need to manually add water to the tub via a hose or other water supply. We do this with a water pump and plastic hose from the 2000L tank.
Once the clothes are washed in the tub, the tub is then drained.
It usually takes a second washing in the tub to get rid of all the soap suds.
The Wind Jet Dry on the right takes the place of an electric clothes dryer.
You put the wet clothes in the Wet Jet Dry tub and it will spin the water out of them.
Then the clothes have to be hung up old style to dry, on a drying rack.
