One of Phetchaburiโ€™s most colourful traditional festivals returns this March.

The annual ox cart racing competition 2026 and Ban Lat 109 Years Temple Fair will take place from 27โ€“31 March at Thung Jang Subdistrict, Ban Lat District, Phetchaburi Province.

The event celebrates a long-standing local tradition, with decorated ox cart parades and thrilling racing competitions forming the highlight of the five-day fair. Races will include speed, endurance and pair events, drawing competitors and spectators from across the province.
