An American motorcyclist lost his life late Thursday night (January 29, 2026) when his bike collided head-on with an SUV on a busy road in Pattaya.
The crash occurred around 10 p.m. on the elevated section of Highway 35 near the Bang Lamung area.
According to witnesses, the motorcycle suddenly crossed into the opposite lane and struck the front of the SUV, pinning the rider beneath the impact.
Rescue teams and police arrived quickly, but the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released, and authorities are investigating factors such as speed and road conditions as they work to determine what caused the crash
