Avoiding the Commercialization

Not many westerners moving to Thailand can avoid the commercialization.

Right into the heart of western influences and mass marketing.

Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Hua Hin, Pattaya, Phuket and all the other tourists destinations.

Why do they want to move to these areas?

Is it because these areas are all they know about Thailand?

Smart expats that do not need to be bar stool sitting, or hand holding beers with other expats, have learned to avoid the commercialization of Thailand.

Doing so by living in rural areas that to this day, will never be commercialized.

Despite all the advantages of rural living from super low cost, fresh air, tons of nature, fresh fruits and vegetables, friendly locals, no scams, no traffic and other problems, the majority of westerner’s moving to Thailand land in the commercialized areas.

People living in rural areas can always visit the commercial areas.

However, why you would want to live in the commercial areas full time is anyone’s guess?

Costs more, urban problems, crime, traffic, and worst. No land, stuck in a condo, same routine everyday.

If you really want a solution for the easiest and cheapest way to spend the rest of your life living in Thailand, educate yourself on rural life outside of all the commercialization.
