What’s On Your Mind?

Besides the heat, what is on your mind?

How are things going in your life living in Thailand?

Any complaints? Any regrets?

Thailand is and always will be what you make of it.

There is always plenty of things to see and do, if you have the funds and transportation.

Thailand can be a series of challenges, from finding a place to live to finding the right person to settle down with, to VISA issues.

How you navigate these challenges will determine if you have an easy or difficult life here.

Some areas of Thailand such as Phuket, are changing due to increasing amount of foreigners moving in and making the costs rise.

Other areas like Koh Chang are still extremely slow in the off-seasons.

With careful research, you can find the location that works best for you.

As always, money issues seem to be the #1 cause of concern for a majority of expats.

Make sure you have a solid income before deciding to spend your entire life here.

Thailand will evolve in the next 20 years and things will get more and more expensive.

The good news about living in rural Isaan is very few want to live here, which I think is great.

No rising costs, no traffic, no increase in pushy expats.
