Tourists coming to Thailand should be aware that they can be victims of crimes committed by other tourists and nationalities.
There are so many different nationalities that visit Thailand and each bring their nasty criminal habits with them.
Recently in the news a Vietnamese girl was beat and robbed in Bangkok by 3 Iranians. (2 men and 1 women) after she withdraw money from an ATM. The 2 men have since been arrested.
The reason behind the majority of these crimes is money.
Many tourists are escaping to Thailand with limited money and no way to get a job here.
They resort to crime as a way to get money to prolong their stay.
Tourists should steer clear of other tourists that they do not know, do not be out and about at late hours by themselves, and always be aware of the people in their immediate surroundings.
It is good to understand these things happen routinely and to be on guard against it.
Use caution and be aware that crime does occur in Thailand.
