With more and more foreigners escaping their home countries and moving to Thailand, crime is on the rise in places such as Phuket, which has had an influx of 65,000 Russians move there and Pattaya.
Illegal Businesses, drunkenness/driving under the influence, VISA issues and motorcycle thefts appears to be topping the list.
Police have been cracking down as many of these crimes are against Thai people and Thai businesses.
These were probably not model citizens in their own home countries, yet they come to Thailand and commit crimes against Thai people.
We can only hope they get locked up and then deported.
The last thing we need is for foreigners ruining Thailand.
More than 180 foreigners have faced criminal charges in the southern resort province of Phuket since the start of the year, with the top three offenders being nationals from Russia, France and the United Kingdom.
