Most people associate Thailand with being a cheap holiday.

It is anything but that!

It all depends on what you want to see and do when you are in Thailand on your holiday.

If you only plan on walking around the streets/towns/beaches, and eating on the street, then yes, your holiday can be cheap.

However, the main attractions all over Thailand the prices will be on par or higher than your own country.

Water Parks and Theme Parks can cost you as much as US $50+ per person.

Boat trips around the islands can cost upwards of US $100 per person.

A night out at one of Thailand’s world class nightclubs can set you back US $100+.

Nicer hotels can run US $200 to US $400+ a night.

Floating cabins in Khao Sok can be US $500+ a night.

Rooftop Bar in Bangkok with drinks and dinner US $150+.

Sunday Brunch at a 5 star hotel can be US $100+.

Fancy spa’s can be US $300+ a day.

Day Trips, National Parks and almost everything else have a cost.

If you are traveling with a family, these costs can add up quite quickly.

You should always research the cost before planning any attractions.

Some apps like Klook offer discounted tickets to many attractions in Thailand.
