The End Game

Is Thailand the End Game for you?

Do you plan on staying in Thailand the rest of your life?

Have you taken time to think about what could happen the next 5, 10 or 20 years living in Thailand?

Do you need a way out, a backup plan or do you feel you can mitigate anything that happens in the next 20 to 30 years?

No one knows what is going to happen in Thailand in the next 20 years.

All of us can hope for no drastic changes or events that can make Thailand unlivable.

Things that concern me right now is the situation with air pollution.

Places in China that never addressed this like Shanghai are suffering the consequences. The majority of those people with no money or means to move.

I hope the government gets serious about tackling air-pollution. Stories such as Bangkok having the 4rth worst air pollution in the world gets the attention of tourists.

When tourism falls, Thailand suffers.

Money is always an issue in Thailand.

Depending on exports, Thailand is at the mercy of other countries not implementing tariffs.

Once countries due that, Thai exports suffer and so does the economy.

No money also drives crime and people get desparate.

Thinking ahead and having some idea of what can happen is a good idea.

The self-sufficient policy will be extremely beneficial to those that can grow/raise their own food, fruit, fish ponds, rice and have their own water wells.

The cities will be hit the hardest.

It all requires keeping an eye on life here.
